If you do comparisons between iOS and Android, you will notice that Apple has some advantages over Android.

While this is not at the top of everyone's list, I think people that are more serious about cyber security should consider this when buying their next phone. Apple offers:

Closed-source code, which reduces the likelihood of vulnerabilities
Regular updates for all compatible devices, including older ones
Strict app vetting process through the App Store
Built-in Secure Enclave for sensitive data storage

All of which Android does not. Which do you use? Would you consider switching?

I know Apple tends to be more secure in many areas but I still prefer Android because I like to have more personal control over my devices. I wouldn't say Android is much less secure anyways. Only slightly.

They do have more security measures but they have also had issues with their iCloud services being compromised. Not to mention, all data on their phones are saved for 30 days I believe even if you delete items. There is no real way around that either.
