I am curious if this is still the case or if something better is available. I use Brave now and love it but if there are better options, I want to be aware of them. Please share if you know of any!
I would say it is still #1. They have private search, a built in VPN, they now have AI assistance as well, the ad-blocker is still one of the best ones around. I can't think of any other browser that would beat this one.
I am sure it is very biased but I did ask Brave's AI and it seems to agree that it is the best option. I would still look into it more but I feel it is personally for me. I won't use any other browser on mobile or desktop. They use onion routing as well which I don't think any other browser does.
I prefer Brave but Tor is another good option. They do similar things to Brave but it is just a different feel and a different company.
Firefox Focus is another option for someone looking to get away from Brave. It is not as widely used though so that is worth keeping in mind.
I have tried Iridium which is great for security and privacy but I just don't like the app.

@ironfelixx I have heard of Tor but never tried it. I will give it a go and see what I think to be fair. Maybe I will end up liking it more. Firefox I have not been a fan of for awhile. Especially when they got busted selling data not that long ago.
