I know these days, there are new threats seemingly every month and I know one of the best defenses is good offense. Like keeping everything up to date will do a lot of the heavy lifting. For everything else though and staying informed, where are the best places to stay up to date on all things cyber security?
There are a number of sites you can check daily for updates. Actually, there are quite a few but many just steal news/updates from larger ones. I would recommend following KrebsOnSecurity for most cyber-related news and The Hacker News for breaking news updates. I check both a few times a week myself and have their newsletters tied to my inbox.
To add to what was mentioned above, both are great recommendations - Follow social accounts as well that focus on this sort of news feed. X is a good place for it. You can just make a profile and follow accounts that are cyber security focused with the latest news and updates from around the world.

Outside of the options mentioned, Dark Reading is another good news platform that focuses on cyber related news. For government information, check out US-CERT and CISA if you are located in the US.

@boldstix Ah that is handy. I did not think to actually check government sites. I will have to look into this more and maybe bookmark these sites to check now and again. I never heard of Dark Reading, I don't think ever. Will look into that one too, thanks!
