Thousands of users reported service issues with the Microsoft products on Thursday, a day after a brief outage happened with the same products. These issues were on and off for two days but have seemed to be "mostly" resolved as of last night. The issue impacted over 15,000 users. 

The root cause was identified as a service infrastructure issue in North America that disrupted traffic processing during maintenance, leading to elevated load and cascading failures.
